Essential Question:  Do you truly believe that God owns EVERYTHING?

 Put plainly, godly stewardship is the temporary management of God’s stuff: be it salvation, the gospel message, talents, time, or money.  Since more than 2/3 of Jesus’ teaching stories were tied to finances (being about 1 of 4 verses in the New Testament and about 1 of 6 verses in the Old Testament), we know He’s interested in how we handle the money He’s trusted with us.  In fact, well over 1600 New Testament verses deal directly with God’s will for our finances.  God’s emphasis on financial stewardship shows how serious He is about how we handle what He’s provided.  Jesus made a direct connection between how we handle our finances and spiritual growth.

Christian Stewardship Seminar was designed to help local congregations become better stewards of what God has provided. Our seminar is broken up in three phases, each phase is a building block to a healthy financial state. God can work a great blessing when we realize that He owns everything and we are just his manager's.
