Kingdom-Minded

Nothing that a Christian has is his own; not his heart, not his soul, not his mind, and—perhaps hardest to accept—not his financial resources.  Yet, it is in letting go of our will and letting God work His will in our lives that brings true personal and corporate blessings.  This is the focus of Christian Stewardship Seminar (CSS), as presented by Rev. Brad Mayer: to make clear the Biblical truth that what is ours is God’s, and learning to more fully utilize what He has given us.

CSS is not a series of “get rich by manipulating God” lessons, but a thoroughly Bible-oriented course through which you will learn to become a better steward, or keeper, of God’s money.  However, money management is not the ultimate goal of the Christian Stewardship Seminar: strengthening stewardship throughout God’s kingdom!

CSS is delivered using four main tools:

1.  God’s Spirit sustains the delivery of sound biblical truths throughout.

2.  PowerPoint presentation to educate Christians in biblical principles of godly stewardship;
3.  Accompanied by a fill-in-the-blank workbook.

4.  Two hour, private, personal “Stewardship Strategies Sit-Down” sessions

The multimedia presentation is used to hit the main points from the workbook and provide real-life examples of the application of God’s principles to our finances.  CSS provides clear, concise, scripture-focused teaching on tithes and offerings, giving to those in need, debt, foolish spending, dealing with holdover habits, financial strategies, goal-setting, budget creation, and godly investing.

Throughout the seminar, there are plenty of interactive activities, such as a skit based on the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) and several interactive object lessons.

Christian Stewardship Seminar consists of four 1.5 hour sessions, with one stretch intermission in the middle of each.  An abbreviated version can be done in three 1.5 -hour sessions, but eliminates the “Budget Forms” overview.

A fourth dimension to the Christian Stewardship Seminar is the confidential“Stewardship Strategy Sit-Downs.”  These individual, two-hour private sessions are to develop each person or couple’s financial analysis and budget creation in order to put effective money management tools into the hands of God’s people.

If needed, the seminar is also available with Spanish-version booklets.
